Portion of proceeds to benefit Project Open Hands

LetsTalk.com, an online distributor and retailer of wireless products, has teamed with best-selling band Counting Crows to sell a limited series of hand-painted Counting Crows faceplates for the Nokia 5160. A Counting Crows CD will be given free to all purchasers of the customized face plates, and a portion of all proceeds will be donated to Project Open Hands, a non-profit dedicated to providing good nutrition to people homebound by AIDs and other debilitating diseases.

The first 30 buyers of the limited series faceplates will receive an unreleased live recording from the Counting Crows concert at University of Denver on December 2, 1999. The remaining 70 buyers will receive the Counting Crows latest CD, "This Desert Life."

Project Open Hand provides meals for individuals suffering from illnesses such as AIDS, heart disease, multiple sclerosis, various forms of cancer and severe arthritis. LetsTalk.com provides free customization service for every wireless phone purchased on the site. After making the transaction, customers simply select "Customization" to provide their speed-dial phone list, select a preferred ring tone and faceplate.

LetsTalk.com's team of professional activators handle the rest: charging the battery, pre-programming up to 10 friends and family telephone numbers into speed dial, setting the preferred ring tone and installing the pre-purchased face plate. Phones are delivered via FedEx two-day delivery and are ready-to-use right out of the box.
