Cellular South signs mobile data contract with TSI

TSI Telecommunication Services Inc. (TSI), a global communications technology company, announced today it has secured a contract with Cellular South to provide Content Delivery Gateway service that enables premium content to be delivered to subscribers. The contract encompasses TSI’s Event Manager rating, clearing and settlement services; premium mobile content developed by two members of TSI’s DataMarketplace -Ogangi and Downplay. Cellular South has wireless licenses for five southeastern states covering a population of 5.8 million.

“Wireless operators and content providers are new business partners who need to negotiate and manage business and technical agreements,” said Ed Evans, TSI CEO. “The combination of our relationships with high value content developers and our interoperability expertise brings wireless operators, media and sports companies a trusted third party, single point of contact for driving content to subscribers efficiently and profitably.”
