Use your mobile phone in total safety

Belkin, the leading manufacturer of computer peripherals and accessories, today introduced its new lineup of Pro Series Hands-Frees for mobile phone users. Set to start shipping in North America on July 1, 2002, five new additions will join the ever-growing lineup of mobile accessories at Belkin.

First, the Belkin AirFlow™ Hands-Free uses a unique, airflow conductor system to send signals, dramatically reducing emissions exposure to the user's head and ear from the mobile phone (conventional hands-free systems use metal wires to deliver audio signals to the ear speaker). It features lightweight components and a soft, rotating earpiece for maximum comfort and flexibility. It allows for easy call-handling for Samsung® phones with a convenient OneTouch™ answer/end button located on the ClearTalk™ control unit, which also houses the microphone. This OneTouch button frees users to pick up, terminate, and activate voice-dialing on select phones. Another feature is the SoftHold™ system earpiece and support, which eliminates Ear Duress Syndrome (EDS).

The Belkin Straight Boom Hands-Free features an ultralight design for relief of EDS as well. The Straight Boom unit plugs easily into phones that feature a universal 2.5mm headset port to become instantly call-ready. For Nokia® and Samsung phones with Push-to-Talk buttons, users can activate voice-dialing and can answer/end calls with the OneTouch button. It features a discreetly positioned toggle, which controls the adjustable volume dial.
