Panasonic Mobile Communications intends to begin selling to operators in Europe this year

Intellisync Corporation, a leading provider of synchronization and mobilization software, announced today that a version of Intellisync software will be bundled with SyncML-based mobile phones that Panasonic intends to begin selling to operators in Europe this year.

The solution is designed to synchronize contacts, calendars and tasks between Panasonic's GSM/GPRS mobile phones and essential PC applications such as Microsoft Outlook.

Panasonic will provide many of the features that have enabled the full version of Intellisync to achieve a leading market presence among PC-to-PDA synchronization products sold in the U.S. retail software channel.

Intellisync intends to offer Panasonic mobile phone customers the opportunity to upgrade to the full version of Intellisync, which will provide advanced features such as data filtering, custom field mapping and support of multiple folders. The upgrade will be available from Intellisync's Web Store at www.intellisync.com.

Intellisync's synchronization software greatly enhances the usability of our mobile phones with PCs, said Ken Hatano, director of marketing at Panasonic Mobile Communications Europe. This software offers users who purchase our SyncML-based mobile phones the convenience to readily access synchronized PIM information.

Intellisync software provides a powerful synchronization solution that enables users to keep important information - calendars, contacts and tasks - up-to-date between SyncML, Palm OS , Pocket PC and Windows CE devices and a broad range of PC applications.

The product allows customers to simultaneously synchronize handheld organizer data with multiple PC applications like Microsoft Outlook and Outlook Express, Lotus Notes and Organizer, Novell GroupWise and more.

The full version of Intellisync's patented technology delivers accuracy, convenience and reliability during synchronization with additional capabilities such as custom filtering, intelligent field mapping and conflict resolution.
