Charger For Portable Cell Phones Go Anywhere

The upside of portable cell phones is that they can go anywhere. The downside is that they can run out of battery power anywhere. A charger for portable cell phones can solve the problem. One of the most popular portable cell phone chargers available is the Sidewinder.

Thanks to Sidewinder your can have a cell phone charger that is as portable as your cell phone itself. The Sidewinder cell phone charger doesn’t require any power source other than a few hand and wrist muscles. The cell phone charger comes in a portable carrying kit that includes the charger, connector cable and adapter tips to fit most phones.

The Sidewinder portable cell phone charger works just like it sounds. You attach it to the side of your cell phone and wind it up. You charge your battery by cranking the Sidewinder at a rate of about 1.5 revolutions per second. A little slower or faster will work fine, according to the manufacturer.

Two minutes of cranking the portable cell phone charger will give you two minutes of talk time or thirty minutes of stand-by time. If your phone is completely dead, you’ll want to charge it for several minutes before trying to make a call. Sidewinder claims it’s possible to charge your cell phone and talk at the time. That might be a little difficult since it takes two hands to operate the portable charger.

The portable phone charger is pretty straightforward and can really help out if your phone dies far away from a power source. The Sidewinder has a few bonus features: a small LED flashlight and a crank that can be switched from one side to the other if your hand gets tired.
