Personalize your cell phone tone

If you’re still using a cell phone tone that was included when you purchased your handset, you're missing out on a great opportunity to express yourself. Thousands of unique cell phone tones are available. You can choose anything from the classical to the quirky.

If you prefer a musical cell phone tone you can go with classic rings by Bach or Mozart. How about a little Fur Elise to get your attention? If you want your cell phone to play something a little newer, choose a selection from the Top 40, hip-hop or rock collections on many ring tone web sites. Still in the music category, you can pick a movie or television show theme as your cell phone tone.

Mission Impossible is a popular choice and a phone that rings with the stirring Bonanza theme song stands out in a crowd.

Some patriotic music lovers are using the National Anthem on their cell phones. This is great, but I’m not sure if I need to stand and salute every time their phone rings.

Everybody’s got a musical cell phone tone. How about trying something completely different? You can use animal sounds from cattle lowing to coyotes howling. If you’re a nature lover, you can pick a beautiful bird sound for your cellular. The chicken cluck is one of my personal favorites. That tone always gets a smile when it goes off during a meeting.

A variety of sounds we hear everyday are also available as cell phone tones. A bowling strike, a horn honking or a baby crying can be the signal for you to pick up your phone. If you want to be sure to hear your cell phone try this tone; the old fashioned ring of a telephone.
