September 04, 2005 By: Wendy Whittaker A Mobile Power Kit Can Charge All Your Wireless EquipmentNow you can replace all those cords and chargers with a single mobile power kit that can recharge all of your wireless devices. A mobile kit can also allow you to sync your wireless data with your computer. Several companies now offer mobile power kits. A standard kit has a cable with interchangeable tips. The tips fit various models of cell phones and PDAs. The cable comes with adapters so it can be plugged into different power sources. The tips and adapters make it possible to use the same cord to charge your mobile phone or PDA at home or in the car. Some mobile power kits include additional tips that fit digital cameras, MP3 players and other mobile devices. Manufacturers are also starting to include USB adapters in power kits. With the USB adapter, you can plug your mobile device directly into your computer and easily sync your data. You can also charge your phone or PDA from any powered USB port on your laptop of PC. Power kits with USB adapters make cradles for PDAs and wireless phones obsolete. When shopping for a mobile power kit, make sure it includes tips that fit your specific model of mobile phone or PDA. If you can’t find a power kit containing exactly what you need, additional tips can be purchased separately. Mobile kit manufacturers continually develop new tips and adapters to keep up with new wireless devices. After you buy your mobile kit, you’ll have a new problem. What are you going to do with all of those power cords and cables you don’t need to carry around any more? Also See: motorola cell phone accessories.Author Notes:
