The latest line of Mitsubishi cell phones incorporates the features of i-mode™. i-mode™ was developed in Japan and was introduced in Europe in 2002. Mitsubishi cell phones take full advantage of i-mode™ technology. i-mode™ provides quick, easy access to the Internet. Consumers equipped with the new Mitsubishi cell phone will be able to browse the web for news updates, shop online, send e-mails and download files all at accelerated speeds. In 2004, the m342i phone was introducted into the European market. The Mitsubishi cell phone was designed with a built-in VGA camera and a stunning 262,144-color display. The display brings digital photos, web pages and gaming graphics to life. The vivid display makes playing Java-based games on the phone a treat. The m342i was a collaboration of Mitsubishi’s European Division and company’s Japanese headquarters. Mitsubishi's pride is in bringing together the technological and design expertise of both Europe and Japan to create its products. The m342i is the third offering in Mitsubishi’s i-mode™ cell phone line. The first phone to have i-mode™ technology was the m21i introduced in 2003. With each new i-mode™, Mitsubishi's continued to make improvements in features and style. The m342i is definitely the sleekest of the three phones.
