Kyocera Aktiv Phone Is Now Offered At Cellular One Phone

Through a joint announcement, Cellular One phone and Kyocera have made the new Kyocera Aktive phones available to their customers. Beginning September 5th, the Aktiv phone will be available to Cellular One phone subscribers.

Using CDMA technology, the Aktiv phone is an exciting new choice for its customers, which Cellular One describes "a sporty rubberized handset made with extra durability for users who live life on the run".

Jerry Gallegos, Vice President of Marketing for Western Wireless, when speaking on behalf of the company, said that the “The Kyocera Aktiv is ideal for our many 'on the go' customers who appreciate a stylish handset that's also durable and sporty. Aktiv offers great form and function for a wide range of customers — from soccer moms to mountain climbers to students.”

The new Aktiv phone is being offered with popular features including a built in GPS system, wireless Internet access, stereo-quality ring tones, and a handy built-in flashlight.

Cellular One is offering the Kyocera Aktiv cell phones free after rebate, for a limited time only, to subscribers who sign a minimum $40 monthly, two-year contract.
